Water Pollution

Water and air, the two essential fluids on which all life depends, have become global garbage cans.
Jacques Cousteau
Water is so important. If water disappears everything is going to disappear too. Imagine that water has disappeared. Then plants won't get enough water to give harvest. The hunger will start. Animals will have nothing to eat and they will die out one by one. People won't have anything to eat as the harvest and animals will disappear. So, one by one people will also die either from hunger of thirst. And at last our planet will become so dry that it will turn into a desert with any insinuation on existence of life. So, water is the life.
But people forget about it. And this prediction may come true in a few years if nothing is done about water pollution.
Water pollution is an important problem nowadays. People have no possibility to drink water of rivers, as they are so polluted that people may die. Just drinking water of some lakes may me life threatening and may cause unknown diseases. Water is polluted with a great number of oil because of catastrophes of oil-tankers, litter, left by people at the seaside, harmful substances produced by plants and factories.
Water pollution is very dangerous as we use water of rivers to sprinkle the plants and crops that has harmful impact on them. Animals drink that water and may also either get ill or die. And we eat the meat of such animals. Everything is interconnected in the cycle of the nature. And if one of its elements suffers all other elements suffer too. It is impossible to harm something without consequences.
Even more dangerous problem is acid rains that may travel in clouds all over the world. It has harmful influence on everything its drops touch. It influences on plants, animals, seas and rivers and the fertility of soil. There may be also acid snow and fog that have the same impact as acid rains.
Acid rain is the result of reaction of the gases released by plants and factories as well as by aerosols and traffic with water, oxygen and other compounds of the atmosphere. Sunlight has its impact on these reactions too.
So what measures can be taken to prevent acid depositions? First of all, factories and plants should reduce the contamination of water, establishing the modern equipment to decrease the pollution of water. People should watch carefully what they bring and leave at the seaside. Every person is able to make its contribution to save the water in a very simple way – not to leave any litter in the water. Cleaning up smokestacks and exhaust pipes will prevent acid rains, as the majority of harmful gases are produced from burning coal, oil and other fuels.
Water should be carefully kept as it brings life to people and other live creatures. It should be stopped as if seas and rivers dry out, we will have nothing to drink.
