The flora and fauna of rivers are very rich and people eat a great number of kinds of fishes that live in rivers. Besides, crayfishes also live in rivers.

Rivers are very important because with their help people have the possibility to sprinkle crops and plants, in such way they receive good harvest. Transporting abilities of rivers are very important as people use them to carry cargo from one part of the country to another and from one country to other. In such way people may distribute goods they produce.

People build dams and dikes to use the water of rivers. They use its water to wash and to drink, to sprinkle plants and to throw out poisoned substances and contamination.

But rivers should be carefully kept; people shouldn't allow rivers to dry out, as people will loose water-falls and beautiful landscapes.
